Forum Title: Sayerlack paint specs
I know a guy in Central Italy that wants to paint his home's exterior window and door trims that have been weathered over time and have been sanded down to bare wood and ready to prime and paint. He was recommended the local brand of Sayerlack paint AZ2130/85 (Larch). When I look up Sayerlack - it says it is a Sherwin-Williams brand. according to the Sayerlack Products page, it is a hydroplus waterborne topcoat transparent thixo for exteriors (larch color). but I don't know if it is a paint or solid stain or even if it is truly for exterior use. if it is indeed a transparent stain, does it require a primer of some sort ?? Is anyone familiar with this product that can provide some definite accurate information on it ?? I can not download the TDS or SDS without being a member. with the limited paint stores in his area, I don't know if other brands like PPG, BenMoore, etc are available so I am trying to nail down this Sayerlack brand as the appropriate product for exterior residential wood trim. It will be applied with brush. (I also suggested he contact Sayerlack Cust. Serv. via email but has not received an answer yet). sound familiar ?? thank you for your time. . .

I searched paintdocs.com and all that is on there are the MSDS sheets. It is however an exterior transparent product. Has anyone called their customer service phone number yet?
